Our Aftercare Centre provides a range of fun and exciting activities for children in the afternoon. At 12:45, our children that are enrolled in Aftercare move to the Aftercare Centre together with their friends from the same class. They will pack away their belongings in their individual lockers and will then join the big group in the hall. The children follow a toilet routine and wash their hands before going to our dining area to have their lunch. Ruzene Abrahams will supervise the learners and will warm up food in the microwave, should the need occur.
Relax and Play: Fun and Safe Environment
At Joe Simon Pre-Primary, we believe that children learn best through play. Our Aftercare learners get cooldrink to drink after lunch and then they have the opportunity to lie down and rest for a while. We provide free play indoors and outdoors, and every day, we pack out different toys for the children. Children are encouraged to choose what or where they would like to play.
Outside, we have a big variety of play areas such as our sandpit, wheel toy area, big lawn, different jungle gyms, and trees to climb into. Our Aftercare Centre offers a safe and secure environment for your child to explore and have fun.
